Entirely about pleasant anticipation

Today’s the day! Nearly 17 years after Freddie Mercury’s death a new studio-album by the remaining members of Queen is going to be released. Luckily Brian May and Roger Taylor weren’t looking for a singer that could replace Freddie Mercury (which would have been a ridiculous idea, ‚cause there is no way to replace the unreplaceable!), but for a follower, a singer that would bring in his own style and interpretation. So rock-legend Paul Rodgers (former lead singer of Free and Bad Company) has taken over the microphone, which promises to add a whole new (bluesy) dimension to Queen’s sound. Amazon sent out my copy yesterday and I really can’t wait to get my hands on this thing! Oh please, please Mr. Postman…

On Sunday I’m going to visit Micha, Anja and Susanne in Gera, and I am already exited about it. We haven’t met for months and I am looking very much forward to talk to Micha and Anja and (of course) I am soooo curious of seeing the little susanne. I just have to think of a proper gift for the sweetheart…

One week later Micha, Manu and Karsten will be in Berlin. We plan to have a real cool weekend, like we did back in the old days. As a special highlight Manu, Micha and me will visit the concert of Queen + Paul Rodgers. We’re already trying to memorize the lyrics of as many songs as possible… DAS WIRD NE SCHAU! 😉
