It’s been a while …

… since I’ve posted here. Many things happened and I will try to chronicle the most important things.
The party I mentioned in the post below took place in july and I was kinda sad Micha, Anja, Sandy, Nadine and Els couldn’t come, but it was nice anyway. Torbi arrived by plane and it was really cool seeing him in person, after we didn’t meet for a year or so. We created the manliest pizza on earth, roamed through Berlin and – to cut a long story short – we had a really good time and should do something like this again soon.
In September I went to a short trip to Italy with Manu and Karsten. It was the first time in my life I visited Italy and I liked it very, very much. Unfortunatly I catched a cold, but doc Manu hat something for me, so at least it didn’t get worse – and I had a lot of time to read while Karsten was dragging Manu from mountain top to mountain top and shooting an awful lot of pictures of stones. :E
In October I went for a weekend to Gera with David to meet Micha and Anja. (For those of you finding it impolite of me, to always mention Micha first, when speaking of them: I really don’t know why we got used to this over the years. It sounds just … right. And luckily Anja isn’t the kind of woman lacking self-confidence and being offended by such things. :)) We had a nice weekend, a great savoy stew and many other things.
When Micha told me a few days later, that fate struck them like a lightning, we were shocked and couldn’t do anything but stand aside helpless. I really hope you can go through or even over this somewhere down the road. Sometimes you can see no reason, ‚cause there _is_ no reason. *big hug*

Thats it for now, I promise to update this more often. Take care everybody!

Crazy…

… how time goes by. Again some weeks are gone since the last time I was writing down some news – and again amazing things happend since then.
Since 1st of June I occupy a nice flat in Friedrichshain, Berlin. Even though everything is somewhat bald and pretty much basic, I plan to do a big party really soon. So keep on checking you’re mail and start thinking about a nice little gift. 🙂

Many things happened…

… during the last few weeks. Manu and me had a birthday-party. It was a really nice evening with all the nice people we hadn’t seen for much too long. Also I had an pretty cool evening attending a concert of Helge Schneider at Schillertheater, Berlin. Micha had a birthday-party too, and of course it was great too. I’ve found a appartment where I can spend the time until my new flat is renovated.
And last but for sure not least: Anja and Micha are getting a baby – finally! All the best to you! If you’re looking for someone to teach your child bad manners, swearing and such stuff just give me a call. 😀

Now I am officially…

… old. 3 days ago I turned 28 years old, so I can’t say „I’m in my mid-twenties“ anymore, if someone asks for my age. :-/
I received the asskicking special edition of World of Warcraft as a gift, so be prepared to see my character (Gorlosch, Mannoroth, Ger PvP) running around with a Mini-Diablo as his pet pretty soon.

„Ich bin ein Berliner“ .. WTF?!?!

On tuesday I started working in Berlin as tester and uploader for Jamba!. To be honest I am very sad to leave all the nice people at Sigma behind, but this looks like an great opportunity and I work together with Markus and David, so I didn’t have to think more than a second. 😉

Now I have to find a flat in Berlin, lets just hope everything works out soon. 🙂

Done with Bonaparte.

On sunday morning I have returned from the french-speaking-countries-part of our little pan-european-inventory-tour 2005. More events are to come, but since they all will take place in Sweden and Germany, we are officialy „Done with Boneparte“ for this season. (Greetz to all M. Knopfler fans out there.)
We paid a visit to Switzerland, France and Luxembourg and had quite a good time staying in Lausanne at lake Geneva. Work became a bit stressing, but hey – no pain no gain. 😀

Wadda day.

Half an hour ago I arrived from Lille, where we showed the frenchies from a „Conrad“-market how the germans take inventory. 21 hours of driving through half of europe and 1700 kilometers for 5.5 hours of work. Crazy, isn’t it?

P.S. Of course it was great fun doing the tour, especially since Wörg, Wantje, Wens, Wathrin and Wica were aboard. (insider…)
P.P.S. Also it was the first time I got my hands on the steering wheel of one of the Sigma-cars. After 850 km I have to say, I kinda like this VW-T4-bus.

Weblogs suck.

Ok folks, time to sum up January. Crazy how fast time flies by. I’ve survived Christmas in good health and on the New Year’s Eve I’ve met with Micha & Anja, Manu, David and some other people. We had a very good time talking a lot, eating even more and playing „Scrabble“. It’s always a pleasure to be with you gals! 🙂

I’ve spent nearly the whole January working for Sigma. Among other things we went to Augsburg for a whole week and stayed in one of those Etap-hotels, which are really „basic“ by all means. Nevertheless we had much fun.

Last weekend we did some roleplaying and even though I assume anyone had as much fun as my little self, I have to say that 6 hours aren’t hardly even a warmup, but for sure not a game. Come on guys, where are those days, when we spent like 15 hours or so per session. 😀

Yesterday Holm told me I have to work this weekend too, even though I didn’t want to. I was really looking forward to this weekend, since I didn’t see Anke for nearly two weeks, so I am pretty much disappointed. ;( ;( Lets just hope the situation will change in mid-february, when most of the bigger super-markets are done.

Next week will be stressing too, we will go to France, Switzerland and Luxembourg taking inventory for some DIY-superstores and a „Conrad“ electronic-market. At least we don’t have go there by car.

Did I mention, I hate those epidemically growing group of self-centered people, who consider every bit of there poor lifes important enough, to mention it in a weblog? No? Uhm, I do … strange enough, but I do. Over and out.
